YES... Trading can be considered as a good profession. But it is riskier. If you have enough knowledge, passion and willing to treat it as a business. Then definitely you will earn money. As a professional Technical analyst and a trainer I have met many people who are in to trading, but none of them are professional. So I will explain the qualities of a professional trader
1) A professional trader should have a trading system
2) A professional trader has multiple trading strategies with pre determined entry and exit methods and also with stop loss
3) A professional trader is not greedy not fearful
4) He will always back test his strategies
5) Trend is his friend
6) If there is no opportunity then he will not trade
Some technical strategies for Intraday as well as For Medium term:
1) Moving average break outs
2) Open high low method
3) Four week and eleven week break out
4) Different pattern break outs
5) Expiry related strategies
